ZIKHONA SODLAKA LETS FAME GET TO HER HEAD

According to Drum magazine, Eastern Cape born Zikhona is no different from her golddigger character on Generations.

A former colleague who worked with the 29-year-old actress when she was in SABC drama series After 9, told Drum of an incident that transpired when they were still shooting the series.

“One day she came on set with her make-up done straight from another shoot and when the make-up artist tried to remove it and put fresh make-up on, as demanded by her role, she freaked out and refused, saying she loved it as it was,” she said.

Another source, who apparently was friends with Zikhona before she made it and would give her taxi fare to go to auditions, is extremely disappointed and shocked at how the actress has turned out.

“I tried to greet her some time back and wanted to congratulate her on making it to Generations, but she gave me the cold shoulder and acted like she didn’t know me,” she said.

“I don’t care about the money. It was years ago. But a simple ‘hello’ would have done instead of looking down at us just because she’s made it.” she added.

However,  another source rubbished the claims and said the following:

“If she doesn’t like her make-up or wardrobe, she isn’t shy to say so. I think she knows she’s good at what she does and sometimes it goes to her head. Some people say she’s rude, others say that she’s a diva, but Zikhona fights for what she believes in. She’s always been like this, even before she joined Generations,”

When approached for comment, the actress said “I’m very sad to hear this. I can’t comment because it wouldn’t change anything.”
