According to Sunday Sun, Phelo Bala is now a qualified sangoma and his family has been very supportive.
“We’re proud of him, we’re supportive as a family.” said Zwai.
Phelo moved back to Eastern Cape, a couple of days before Joyous Celebration embarked on a journey to Cameroon.
“He clearly knew he wasn’t going to be part of the show,” said the source.
Phelo wrote a letter to Lindelani Mkhize to thank you for the opportunity. “He was not specific in his letter, except that he said that he was pursuing other opportunities and needed to grow as an artist,” the source told the publication.
“He’s now happy in the Eastern Cape and has made peace with the situation", a family member also the paper.
