HALLE BERRY ORDERED TO PAY MAINTAINANCE FOR HER DAUGHTER

Los Angeles Superior Court approved the settlement agreement, saying that the Oscar-winning actress would pay Aubry, the father of her 6-year-old daughter Nahla, $16,000 a month to support their little girl.

Halle is also expected to pay Nahla's tuition and her health care expenses will be split between the two. The payments will continue until their daughter turns 19 or graduates from high school, whichever comes first.

The two met on a Versace shoot in 2005 and went public in early 2006 and in 2008 the actress gave birth to their daughter. They broke up in 2010 and have been engaging in disputes since 2012, when a judge prevented Halle from moving Nahla to France with her and her third husband Olivier Martinez. 

This is rather interesting because it is usually men that pay maintainance, as in most cases custody is granted to women.
