JUB JUB APPEALING AGAINST MURDER CONVICTION

Sunday World reported that Jub Jub and his co-accused Themba Tshabalala are appealing against their murder conviction.

continue for more after the cut...They were sentenced to 25 years in prison for four counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder, after they crashed into a group of children while drag racing. The matter was set down to be heard today, 12 June 2014.

National Prosecuting Authority stated that they will be opposing the application against the appeal.

The two filed an application to appeal the conviction and sentence handed down by Protea court Magistrate Brian Nemavhidi.

It is reported that Jub Jub has been moved to another prison after he was allegedly caught having sex with a female visitor.(read here).
