PHILA MAZIBUKO RETURNS TO SABC 1

Soul City, will premiere its twelfth season on the channel on 15 July at 20:30 

Phila Mazibuko is an actor in the new season, he plays AB Abednego.

 Mazibuko speaks on the series and his character: 

 
“This series speaks to all South Africans, particularly the youth. It questions individuals and encourages us to acknowledge our role in bettering society. Soul City 12 asks, do we add value? Do we care for each other? Are we our brother’s keeper? Are we trustworthy? And what can we do to improve our situation? In the show I’m looking for real connections with people although I know many. I need to show people who I really am and be willing to risk rejection.”

Phila has been MIA for a while now,  since he was canned from Sky Room Live and Muvhango.
