Cassper Nyovest, was set to perform his latest single on LIVE Amp on 15th August 2014, but due to an unfortunate incident involving one of AKA’s entourage members’, Prince Nyembe, threatening Cassper Nyovest with a firearm and AKA assaulting Cassper’s Road Manager, Tshepo Seone aka ‘Spike’, the rapper was unable to.
Cassper Nyovest has laid charges at the Randburg Police station in Johannesburg.
Casspers team released a statement regarding the incident:
“I feel this incident was unnecessary and was a sad day for the entertainment industry in South Africa. I chose not to retaliate as I have lived the life of gangster violence before and walked away from it to pursue my music career. As I am a public figure now what message would I be sending out to the people that support me. Therefore I will take the correct procedures to deal with the matter
