Booth, 37, made his debut 1996 for Cape Town Spurs.
He recently made 16 starts for Wits last season and was offered an extension by the club, but has elected to turn down the offer.

"I thought our last campaign was a decent season and a good note to bow out on," he told the Times
"I felt I contributed. But I also sat on the bench more often than I've ever done, and that has contributed to my decision."
"People don't have the greatest memories, so I think it's important to leave at the right time."
