TAL ASS MO LIED ABOUT BEING CALLED THE "K-WORD"

Mongezi Ngcobondwane, aka Tol Ass Mo and his wife Mome Mahlangu were charged with attempted murder and assault after an ugly incident erupted with a certain James French and Alice Choe, (if you missed the post read here.) When the incident became known to the press, TolAssMo claimed that James called him “the k-word."

Well!! It appears that he lied, he was never called the K-word. 

According to the Daily Maverick, Mongezi and Mome issued an apology to the said French and Choe at the South African Human Rights Commission on Wednesday, and as a result the charges against them were withdrawn.

Extracts from the apology they issued:

"Mr French neither provoked nor returned the violence. We are immensely thankful that there were no physical injuries as a result of this, but we know that there were emotional ones. We will forever be sorry for these indefensible actions," 

"Ms Choe is a Korean-American and Mome used language that inflicted pain on her, and looking back, can only be described as xenophobic. We are truly sorry."

When approached for comment, James said he is glad they were able to settle out of court and believes that "free people must find common ground".
